Shopping Support Volunteers are needed. There are older people in our community who need the support of a friendly, caring and reliable person to assist them with their grocery shopping. There are numerous entertainment and lifestyle activities for you to choose to engage one or two residents with and you would provide a wonderful interlude which will enhance a resident's day. We don’t need you to have experience we just want you to be an active part of our team with ideas and enthusiasm and engage with residents to provide fun and entertainment.

VMCH is currently welcoming volunteers to engage with residents who have personalised activities which has been tailored to meet their individual interests, cultural background, and physical abilities, you would provide conversation and assistance to create a wonderful interlude which can enhance a resident's day. An older man living in his own home would like you to visit him. You must be able to converse in Greek and can play board games, chat about Greece and other places of travel, or go for a walk together. Approximately an hour a fortnight or weekly at a time to suit both of you.
