Diabetes Victoria is holding a diabetes education event for the Vietnamese community on May 28, and looking for Vietnamese speaking volunteers to provide in-language support to attendees. We have 4 volunteer roles available. Responsibilities include assisting with promotion prior to the event, set-up/ pack-down of the event, supporting attendees on the day, and ensuring the event goes smoothly.

We have helped 932 people to get amazing jobs in the last 10 years! Training position in retail, customer service, office administration, cash handling, banking, EFTPOS, sales, accounts pay/rec, marketing, merchandising, stock control, Team Leader/Manager role, HR, etc. No experience required - we train you, fix your resume, teach you interview skills, will be your local referee and give you access to our jobs board. We advertise often as our trainees get jobs regularly!

Horses provide vital mental and physical stimulation for our disabled participants, improving their confidence, increasing their autonomy and delivering immeasurable amounts of pleasure. There are many and varied opportunities for volunteers at our centre.

4 Voices are looking for team leaders to support our small outreach teams on the Gold Coast. Team leaders need to engage with, coach and manage both volunteer and the outreach shift activities. The commitment required is 3 - 4 hours per week. We are about to launch an outreach service to operate from an off-grid van at various locations on the Gold Coast.

The Ashburton Community Centre runs many events and are seeking to establish a pool of volunteers who may be interested in lending a hand on a one-off or regular basis at our events. Events are a fun way to be involved, meet people and make a difference in your local community.
