Friends of Point Peron is a small group of caring local volunteers who are helping Parks and Wildlife staff look after Cape Peron following the dumping of the Mangles Bay Marina on planning, not environmental, grounds. We grow seedlings from local native seed, plant them and tend them and deal with weeds. We'd love to have your help as often as you are free.

Everyone is welcome to volunteer at parkrun events. We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across Australia. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. You can volunteer as a marshal, timekeeper, photographer or try your hand at scanning barcodes and handing out tokens…..to name a few of the roles we have available.

We are looking for a barista (experienced or learning) to work on match days at our busy sports club kitchen! We have a team of happy volunteers cooking food and serving customers, and are looking for a friendly volunteer to work alongside them making our coffee orders.

Saturday 1st June 2024 A family-friendly, fun-filled morning requires no special skills, experience, or training – just your presence and enthusiasm. Some tasks may include directing and encouraging participants around the course, selling merchandise, and handing out participants' packs. We need volunteers on the day from 7 a.m. to approximately midday in various roles.

Worn again is more than just an OPshop. We sell preloved goods for $3, $2, $1. We are a ministry of Citylight Church and not only serve the community by fulfilling in their physical needs, but also emotionally and spiritually.
