A Day Centre providing social activities and and contact for older people who have intellectual, physical and psychiatric disabilities requires volunteers to offer companionship to the consumers and assist with various activities.

The Volunteer Service for the Flinders Medical Centre operates a very popular BBQ services located at the Courtyard on Level 2 at Flinders Medical Centre. The volunteers need a fit able-bodied person that would be willing to assist them in the clean up at the end of the day. Shift requirement is: Wednesday to Friday 1 pm - 3 pm. If you are interested, we would love to hear from you.

Many of our residents have been avid gardeners in their time and would love nothing better than to potter around in our lovely gardens with some companionship. We are seeking friendly and caring volunteers who enjoy socialising with others and who would be happy to support our residents.
