Halo are seeking lively volunteers to transport and support clients who are experiencing vulnerability or are socially isolated to attend medical appointments, allied health consultations and social engagements. Volunteers will ensure a safe, courteous and respectful on-board client experience keeping in mind their health, wellbeing, cultural background, life experiences and social connection.

Assist and direct incoming donations to the nominated sorting area; remove and change rubbish bales and white bags; assist with furniture and furniture floor displays (where applicable),sweeping and general tidying of sorting area. THIS ROLE INCLUDES SOME HEAVY LIFTING (Furniture etc.) Must be willing to undertake all duties within the store. ***To be referred to this role an interview with Volunteering Central Coast is required. As a Bespoke Befriending volunteer, you will provide friendship and companionship to our Home Care Package and Residential Care Clients. Providing friendship and companionship to our Home Care Package and Residential Care recipients. Social visits - chatting and conversations over coffee or tea, short walks. Entertainment - Playing board games, card games and listening to music etc.
