As a Girl Guide Leader or Junior (youth) Leader you help girls and young women become leaders, develop practical and life skills, explore their world and discover how to make it a better place. Through a non-formal education program of learning through fun activities and challenges, you can inspire others and make a difference in the lives of girls in your community.

The volunteer will assist with the early literacy program Paint Bunbury REaD which encourages everyone to "talk, read, sing, rhyme, yarn, draw and play with children every day from birth". The volunteer's roles will include monitoring the book swap boxes, creating some resources and assisting at story time events.

Scouts provides young Aussies with fun and challenging opportunities to grow through adventure. The Scout Movement encourages the development of young people so they take a constructive place in communities by through gaining life skills, self-confidence and independence. Kennedy Region Scouts have opportunities on the team who provide support to the program activities. The High School has a breakfast club running on a Friday and Monday mornings to assist students with a healthy start to the day. Helpers are needed for anytime between about 6.30am and 9 for as long as you are able to give.

As a Toy Librarian you will be required to oversee the borrowing and returning of toys, ensuring they are maintained in good condition and working order e.g. cleaning, changing batteries etc and assisting with the general 'smooth running' of the Library.
