In this program the person with Down syndrome will be matched with a volunteer partner. Together they will exercise at their local gym, fitness centre or health club. The program runs for 12 weeks and participants go to the gym together twice a week.

MND NSW provides equipment free of charge to people living with motor neurone disease. Our staff are inundated with work at the moment in the cleaning bay and would really appreciate an extra pair of hands with cleaning duties and minor repairs of equipment.

As a volunteer, you don’t need any specific qualifications or experience, just a genuine interest to empower people with disabilities and a willingness to share your skills.
