The Hyland House Respite Centre in Petrie is looking for people to assist older persons and people with a disability in maintaining our lovely centre garden. This includes potting and watering plants and chatting about their upkeep. No special skills are needed, just patience and an interest in gardening.

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to be a part of our gardening group, every Wednesday from 9.30am to 10.30am. Come share you passion for gardening with us!

Cairns Toy Library (just like a book library but for toys) is looking for someone to help us to keep our lawn area neat and tidy - mowing, edges and general tidy up services required. We are a fully volunteer run not-for-profit organisation. Just like a normal library but for toys instead of books!
