Road2Work Volunteer Driving Supervisors assist people living with disability and looking for work, to gain their Probationary Licence to increase their employability, enrich their everyday lives and open up their opportunities. Road2Work volunteers will use a Maxima car to assist our customers to add to their required log book hours and helping them achieving this goal.

Volunteers must live in the South West of WA.

Community Visitors uphold the Human Rights of people living in supported care. They visit accommodation facilities and monitor and report on the adequacy of services provided. This role is ideally suited to individuals who are able to visit during day-time hours or late afternoons and who can make a commitment of two years. Training will be provided to support you in the role.

Peer support occurs when people with similar life experiences provide knowledge, experience, emotional, social or practical help to each other. VALID’s Peer Action Groups (PAG’s) provide an opportunity for people with disabilities to meet on a regular basis in their local community. PAG’s share information and knowledge, providing mutual support to engage in activities and projects that go on to build a more inclusive community.

Are you interested in supporting people with disabilities in their employment. Our warehousing and manufacturing service in Dandenong provides meaningful employment for people with disabilities who require support at work. Tasks include supporting individuals in picking and packing, labeling, assembling, skill training and supporting productivity.
