Community Visitors are the eyes and ears of the community and perform an important role of upholding the human rights of people with a cognitive disability and/or mental illness who are living in supported care.

The Department for Child Protection Volunteer Driver would transport children and young people to and from family contact, appointments and may also assist with learner driver training. Some out of hours, long distance and overnight travel may be required.

MUST BE A PARENT OF A CHILD WHO HAS OR HAD DRUG AND ALCOHOL ISSUES. Supporting and mentoring parents of children with drug and alcohol issues.

We are currently looking for Parent Peer Volunteers to facilitate family peer support groups to parents and families. You may also be interested in providing telephone support to parents calling the service in distress on our telephone roster, As our service provides Peer Support, IT'S ESSENTIAL you have lived experience in this area.
