This role would support new parents to their role as parents, support the wellbeing and development of children and bring an understanding of the challenges of parenting and support parents to find their own solutions

Volunteers will assist the STEPS Pathways College trainers with the delivery of learning activities by providing guidance, mentoring, additional explanations, and support to the students. Learning activities for independent living include – communication, healthy living, home maintenance, community connection, social engagement, employment, tenancy, healthy relationships, building friendships, and numeracy and literacy skills.

STEPS Café Volunteers will assist students with disability in a hospitality environment to learn essential skills for employment such as food handling, customer service, money handling and more.
