RDA is a voluntary organisation providing equine-assisted activities for people with disabilities to develop and enhance abilities through programs such as riding, dressage and carriage driving. Horses provide vital mental and physical stimulation for our disabled participants, improving their confidence, increasing their autonomy and delivering immeasurable amounts of pleasure. Retail Assistant at the Friends of the Pound Pre-Loved opportunity shop. The duties will be under the direction of the Team Leader Pre-Loved and will involve sorting donated garments and accessories, washing and ironing items for sale, display items as directed. Retail experience would be an asset but not necessary. Friends of the Pound (Tweed) Inc. are an animal rescue organization and rely on the sale of pre-loved items to support the feeding and vet work of the animals in our care.

We're on the hunt for some likeminded, and eager volutneer to join our team of volunteers to runt he Op Shop. Everything from sorting the varied donations, pricing and steaming the gorgeous garnments, through to researching designers, artists and the unique pieces that we're blessed to receive. The role of Op Shop Assistant exists to help sell a wide range of new and pre-loved items. This involves serving members of the public, assisting with stock rotation, sorting and pricing items, merchandising and keeping the Op Shop in a tidy and presentable state.

This volunteer opportunity will help to assist in the running of all aspects of a retail shop to directly fund our vet bills. Your few hours volunteering can and will help save precious lives.
