Waratah Respite Services, is a community where carers can choose to maintain their loved ones at home for as long as practicable and desirable through the availability of a range of flexible, person centred options. Our Social Support Program is designed to enhance a participant's independence by promoting physical activity, cognitive stimulation, good nutrition, emotional well-being, and social stimulation.

Our choirs are all about coming together and sharing the feeling of what it is like making music together – it is a feeling of joy and elation! ACH Group is seeking two new volunteers to assist with the Sing for Joy Choir, based in Glenelg.

Volunteers required in our dementia specific Activity Centre's. Key duties can include the following, assisting our Activity Officers with activities, assistance with preparing meals, serving of meals, general kitchen duties, becoming a bus host on our Community Transport bus, which would involve transporting clients to and from Centre. If there is a particular role you are interested in, then that is completely up to you.

The Inala Multicultural Festival is a FREE one-day-only event, available to families in our local community and surrounding areas. Share your love of music with our residents at Weekly Concerts and Special Events. We welcome a range of musical styles, from classical, jazz, country, rock'n'roll and popular hits from the 1930's onwards. As you volunteer sing, play and perform, you'll be providing a great live music experience for elderly people living at HammondCare in Horsley.

As you visit and spend time with the elderly residents in our Aged Care Home in Scone, you'll pamper people by providing a gentle hand massage or nail care, such as filing or nail polish (no cutting).
