Volunteer spots are available in CBD locations in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane. No experience necessary, corporate groups, teams or individuals welcome. Red Cross Shops sell new and donated clothes, accessories, and homewares to raise funds to help people in need. Each year, we rescue 2,750 tonnes of clothing from landfill, give opportunities to 5000 volunteers, and generate funds to help Red Cross support vulnerable people in Australia and around the world. The proceeds from the sale of items support the vital everyday work of Red Cross, providing relief in times of crisis and care where it's needed most.

Join Local Land Services and Clean4Shore to remove waste from our precious waterways, protect migratory bird habitat, and contribute towards the Australian Marine Debris Initiative citizen science program. Working on the Hunter River, our team sets out in Clean4Shore’s barge to collect debris from mangroves and tidal flats. The debris collected will be sampled to add records to the AMDI database before sending to landfill.

The Giants Netball team have partnered with Legacy to commemorate our veterans through the act of handing out rosemary at their game against the Melbourne Vixens. We will need volunteers hand out the rosemary sprigs and collect donations from the public.

Sunday 21st April 2024 A family-friendly, fun-filled morning requires no special skills, experience, or training – just your presence and enthusiasm. Some tasks may include directing and encouraging participants around the course, selling merchandise, and handing out participants' packs. There is even a role for the keen bike riders out there! We need volunteers on the day from 6.45am. to approximately midday in various roles.
