Inclusion Melbourne’s Leisure Buddy program matches like-minded people to undertake social activities within our community on a fortnightly basis. We are focused on creating genuine, long term connections between volunteers and our Leisure Buddy participants. The Volunteer Driver is responsible for the transportation of Beyond Blindness Members to various services offered by the organisation including social groups, bus trips and occasional medical/shopping trips and can include one-on-one social time. Volunteers are welcomed as part of the small team in the southern area. All volunteers are given training to assist blind persons. The Volunteer Driver will be required to use their own vehicle which will need to have comprehensive insurance.

This role is ideally suited to individuals who are able to visit during day-time hours or late afternoons and who can make a commitment of two years.
