The Volunteer Reading Helper assists children in practicing reading in the classroom at local schools. Just one hour a week can improve children's reading skills enormously. Watsonia Heights Primary School is seeking volunteers who can assist the school's Librarian with all aspects of the day to day running of the library. You will have a keen interest in children’s literature and be available during the school term in school hours. The Heritage Library Volunteer assists staff with the management of the collection housed in the Heritage Library. You will work alongside a small team of employees and volunteers undertaking preventative conservation and collection management.
