The Volunteer Visitor will provide friendship and companionship through regular one-on-one/or group visits to older people residing in Australian Government Residential Aged Care Facilities and/or one-on-one visits to recipients of Footprints Community Home Care Packages (HCP) who are socially isolated or at risk of social isolation.

We have a male client in Ormond who loves to chat about ideas, books, music and national and international affairs. Our Client is well read and loves listening to music, and he would love to spend an hour a fortnight with a volunteer with whom he can chat over a coffee or a gentle walk.
