Would you like to be a Visitor Guide to watch for dolphins and assist in our Aquarium/Interaction Zone when the dolphins visit? Would you like to assist us as we provide invaluable activities for people with a disability? You will be working with our horses; helping to lead or support riders in a lesson. No previous experience with horses is necessary, just the desire to make a difference.

Are you a horse person? Would you like to assist with the handling of the horses. Receive training in horse handling and stable work as well as how to work with people with some disability.

Combine your sparkling passion for cleaning and your love for horses with your desire to make a difference. Come and contribute your skills and assist us with helping people with disabilities.

We urgently need people who have the patience to get to know and understand each of our horses and become be a horse leader and assist with all aspects of horse and rider care.

Peel Group Riding for the Disabled trading as Peel Horse Power are a not-for-profit organisation, who offer lessons to clients with disabilities. Volunteers can always find a job that suits them, working with horses / clients / paperwork / cleaning / jobs around the farm. We are always in need of bookkeepers, grant writers and so many more jobs. All just 5 minutes from suburbia.

Side walking - No experience necessary. Walking beside horse, supporting clients with disabilities as they ride, making sure they stay safely seated on the horse in accordance with RDAA policies. Leading horses - Volunteers with horse management experience to groom and generally prepare horses for our riding sessions with disabled clients, then to safely lead horses in accordance with RDAA safety policies.
