On Sunday 11 August Muscular Dystrophy will stage Run for Strength - a fun run/walk around Princes Park. We need volunteers to act as marshalls around the course making sure participants dont go the wrong way. It is an easy job but one that is crucial to the success of the event. Its a wonderful celebration of able bodied people coming together with those with a disability.

The Giants Netball team have partnered with Legacy to commemorate our veterans through the act of handing out rosemary at their game against the Melbourne Vixens. We will need volunteers hand out the rosemary sprigs and collect donations from the public.

Do you love gardening? Do you want to get out in the sunshine (weather debatable in Melbourne) and spend some time working with your hands? We need gardeners/landscapers or just people who enjoy being out in the garden that are willing to come and volunteer their time and enthusiasm with our participants. Days needed for participation are Friday morning or afternoon.

Make a difference in the life of someone who has served their country. Volunteers provide assistance to past and present defence force personnel and their families through a range of programs including emotional and social support, emergency support, welfare and financial support and home and hospital visitations.
