The Volunteer Visitor will provide friendship and companionship through regular one-on-one/or group visits to older people residing in Australian Government Residential Aged Care Facilities and/or one-on-one visits to recipients of Footprints Community Home Care Packages (HCP) who are socially isolated or at risk of social isolation.

We are looking for a support person for our Inclusive Communities Program. You will be assisting tutors and participants within our wide range of activities. This may include providing positive support and guidance to clients enrolled in our programs. This is a great opportunity to work within a positive and dynamic team.

Join Lifeline WA in our mission to combat loneliness and social isolation in older aged individuals by establishing and maintaining meaningful friendships and companionships. You will visit older aged persons in their own homes or Aged Care facilities on a regular basis to promote their health and wellbeing.

Feeling that we have good social connections is vital for our health, especially as we age. It can be a great comfort to have a person to talk to who is there just for you. Volunteers in Lifeline WA’s Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) fill that role, reducing loneliness in our local community. If you can spare an hour or two a week, join our rewarding program.

We are looking for friendly people who are interested in making a real difference in the lives of seniors by regularly visiting at an aged care community at Kenmore Hills. In this particular role, a small group of 2 or 3 older men would enjoy chatting with you, sharing the experiences of years already lived and creating new opportunities for learning and joy.
