You will be helping people to connect through regular conversations. We provide connection with other services like Centrelink, food services, housing, healthcare and counselling.

The Inala Multicultural Festival is a FREE one-day-only event, available to families in our local community and surrounding areas. It combines multicultural performances, rides, great food and diverse stalls. Marine Rescue NSW saves lives on the water, providing the boating community with 24/7 marine search, rescue and communication services. Each year, we undertake more than 3,000 rescues across the state and return close to 10,000 boaters safely back to shore. Maroondah Winter Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless males to stay overnight during the winter months, 7 nights per week. Home cooked meals are provided. As a volunteer you would be making a difference to the lives of those who have been sleeping rough. Being able to listen, show care and treat our guests with dignity and compassion is what we ask for.

Our Big Kitchen needs a volunteer front-of-house person to welcome both corporate group attendees and individual volunteers. Your presence will help make a difference by increasing customer experience and ensure that we track the correct data for us to improve the way we help the community.
