This is a fun and intriguing role where you are able to get involved with all the behind the scenes processes involved in running the Save the Children Op Shops as a valued VOLUNTEER. We have a wonderful team of like minded people! Volunteers will help with ensuring that the BVHS Collection is managed and conserved in accordance with National Standards for Australian Museums and Galleries. The aim is to maintain the physical & electronic collection registers of Photographs and Objects within the museum and the machinery shed. We are gifted many items which need to be recorded so that they can be readily accessible when enquiries are made and when displays/exhibitions are being planned.
