Yaandina Roebourne Youth Team is seeking volunteers to assist with mentoring support for young boys/girls groups & young men/women groups during school term. The position is available during school term and occasional school holiday programming. This position is flexible and frequency of volunteering is at your choosing.

The High School has a breakfast club running on a Friday and Monday mornings to assist students with a healthy start to the day. Helpers are needed for anytime between about 6.30am and 9 for as long as you are able to give.

Driving a child or young person to a health appointment or singing lesson, shopping for a new bike or pair of boots, playing netball, football or other sports, doing artwork or music are some of the things you may assist with whilst using a government vehicle. No qualification needed.

Our mentoring program connects young people with an adult volunteer mentor from the community with the aim of creating lasting friendships and positive, stable role models. We support the mentor arrangement for a 12 month period and encourage mentors and young people to maintain contact with each other beyond the 12 month supported arrangement.
