YPRL is seeking a new **Reading Dogs team** to join Thomastown Library. Our Reading Dogs program promotes children’s literacy by having children read aloud to dogs at the library. Our mission is to make reading fun and enjoyable for children so that they become confident and lifelong readers. Reading Dogs are accredited companion animals who volunteer with their owner/handler as a team by facilitating reading sessions. The Library Reception Desk Volunteer is the friendly and welcoming face of Genealogy SA. They provide guidance to members, visitors and those who call us to use the Society’s family history information resources. In this role, volunteers will find themselves assisting a variety of people with their genealogical research, providing them with a great opportunity for growth in their own learning.

Volunteers required in our dementia specific Activity Centre's. Key duties can include the following, assisting our Activity Officers with activities, assistance with preparing meals, serving of meals, general kitchen duties, becoming a bus host on our Community Transport bus, which would involve transporting clients to and from Centre.
