Women and Mentoring (WAM) are seeking volunteer mentors for our Young Women's Program. The WAM Young Women’s Program assists young women, gender diverse and trans people aged 12-24, who are identified as at risk or who are in the early stages of contact with the criminal justice system. The program acts as both a preventative and early intervention approach for vulnerable young women living in the Frankston, Mornington Peninsula and Kingston communities.

WAM are looking for more volunteers! Women and Mentoring WAM support women, trans and gender diverse people who have justice system involvement. We are looking for women who are committed to 12 months or more and with availability during the day to meet a woman to support her in her community. This role is ideally suited to individuals who are able to visit during day-time hours or late afternoons and who can make a commitment of two years.
