Several helping hands are needed to re-vegetate a weedy reserve for the return of local native vegetation. We require planters and weeders to continue our revegetation work in The Susannah Brook Reserve.

Our organisation runs out of a house on an acreage property and is subject to real estate inspection every three months. Additionally, our President is allergic to dust and can't let too much dust pile up or else she gets sick. We need help with this so that the facility is spotless for those inspections and also for visitors who expect that a wildlife hospital is always in pristine condition!!

We are presently in an urban setting and need to clean up the weeds, mow the lawn regularly and try to enhance the property with shrubs to bring some nature to this bland backyard.

Women and Mentoring (WAM) are seeking volunteer mentors for our Young Women's Program. The WAM Young Women’s Program assists young women, gender diverse and trans people aged 12-24, who are identified as at risk or who are in the early stages of contact with the criminal justice system. The program acts as both a preventative and early intervention approach for vulnerable young women living in the Frankston, Mornington Peninsula and Kingston communities.

WAM are looking for more volunteers! Women and Mentoring WAM support women, trans and gender diverse people who have justice system involvement. We are looking for women who are committed to 12 months or more and with availability during the day to meet a woman to support her in her community. Volunteers will be matched with women across the metro region, including Frankston and in both the Mornington Peninsula and Ballarat areas.

Coastal Dry Tropics Landcare is a not-for-profit community group, dedicated to conservation and re-vegetation activities in the Townsville region. Your gardening experience, or your willingness to learn new gardening skills, will be greatly appreciated in this role. Tasks will include daily cleans, collation of data (taking pictures of marine debris & reporting back on data via email or social media), disposal of materials in accordance with Local Council rubbish/recycling guidelines and provide community education in sustainable practices.

As one of the Repair Volunteers, you will assist visitors to the repair cafe to: * fix their broken/damaged household items. You will already have the skills to fix one or more of the following: * electrical/electronic/mechanical items * clothing/bedding/other * textiles, jewellery, toys, woodwork, metalwork, bicycles, * and/or other general items You will be able to provide advice to visitors about whether specific items * can be fixed & the parts needed.
