We'll soon be opening a brand new shop in Butler. We're seeking volunteers to help run the shop. From Customers Service, through to Merchandising and putting stock out, all the way through to sorting and processing the stock/donations! We Need You! We require a Manager for our Scout Shop located on Charles Street in Kirwan. Must be efficient in retail, stock control & ordering. This position is during school terms only! Retail Assistant at the Friends of the Pound Pre-Loved opportunity shop. The duties will be under the direction of the Team Leader Pre-Loved and will involve sorting donated garments and accessories, washing and ironing items for sale, display items as directed. Retail experience would be an asset but not necessary. Friends of the Pound (Tweed) Inc. are an animal rescue organization and rely on the sale of pre-loved items to support the feeding and vet work of the animals in our care.

Using the quality guidelines, organise books into their respective categories, box, and place into storage. We have very very high quantities of books to process and targets to meet in order to keep stock levels managable for the next day. Heaving lifting of 5-10kg's is required to place boxes of book onto the sorting table, and moving 'done' boxes to the trolleys to wheel them into the warehousing aisles.
