An exciting opportunity is available for the right candidate to collaborate closely with the State Peak, Homelessness QLD, as our secretariat. This organisation has evolved over the years and is representing the Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) sector as a peak body in the state.

Volunteers will help with ensuring that the BVHS Collection is managed and conserved in accordance with National Standards for Australian Museums and Galleries. The aim is to maintain the physical & electronic collection registers of Photographs and Objects within the museum and the machinery shed. We are gifted many items which need to be recorded so that they can be readily accessible when enquiries are made and when displays/exhibitions are being planned.

Outer East Foodshare collects donated, surplus and rescued food and delivers it to agencies in the Outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne that help families in need. This role will take responsibility for designing, writing and uploading social media for Outer East Foodshare, in particular Facebook, Instagram and What’sApp to engage supporters, encourage donations, and to keep volunteers engaged.
