The Inala Multicultural Festival is a FREE one-day-only event, available to families in our local community and surrounding areas. It combines multicultural performances, rides, great food and diverse stalls. We are looking for a team of amazing volunteers to assist with the set-up/down and running of this exciting event in the Inala community! We would love for you to be part of the event.

Come along to our Play and Learn Playgroup at Moorditj Kulungar Kwinana. This session provides learning through play opportunities and a safe space for children and families to connect. The Playgroup is for children aged 0 – 4 years led by our Aboriginal Resource Worker, we provide opportunities for Aboriginal families who visit us to learn about the first 3 years of a child’s life and prepare them for school.

Do you love to fish? Fishability is looking for volunteers who love fishing and who enjoy helping others to develop independence and experience the excitement of catching a fish. Experience with fishing is not necessary, but all volunteers must have a positive and empathetic nature. Great volunteer opportunity for a retired person. Commitment is required. We have a large suite of programs to offer the public. We are expanding into the City of Knox from Break 40 Cafe at 40/1880 Ferntree Gully Rd. We need local volunteers to assist us to recruit participants to our programs and to help cement these programs as regular fixtures for the local community. These are all groups with a therapeutic angle (eg men's & women's support groups, artistic expression opportunity groups like open mic nights, kids breakfast club or after-school safe spaces.

FIN Townsville offers free independent support to all families involved in Child Safety to ensure the safety of children is paramount, and families are appropriately supported. Fishability are looking for volunteers to help people with special needs / disabilities experience the joy of catching a fish! The program runs every Friday morning from 9:30am to 11:30 at Emu Point. We are looking for females too, our only female volunteer feels out numbered.
