SisterWorks is a partner of UN Women, to deliver UN Women’ Second Chance Education pilot project in Australia. SisterWorks provides training programs to the most vulnerable women with little English of refugee and migrant backgrounds. As a Sewing Teacher, you will be working in the SisterWorks design lab, empowering women by coordinating their sewing classes and teaching new skills.

The purpose of the position is to assist the students homework / assignments and to support their well being. The students ages are from 7 to 18, from primary year 1 to high school year 12. The volunteers need a creative and open mind to assist the students, have patience, empathy and the right attitude. A Blue card is required. Various positions available Tuesday, Wednesday 3pm - 5pm. Day to be negotiated with coordinator.
