This role involves collecting a 3.5M poly boat on a purpose-built aluminium trailer with an electric start 4-stroke motor and towing it 500 meters to a public boat ramp. Launch the boat with the help of club members, drive the boat out onto Throsby Creek and lay markers to create a sailing course. Return to shore and be on standby to collect distressed model boats if required. When racing has concluded, collect the buoys & return the boat to its original location.

    Moreton Bay Region Visitor Information Centres are located across the region at Bribie, Redcliffe, Samford, Caboolture and Woodford and are open 7 days a week from 9am - 4pm. Volunteers are the welcoming ambassadors for the centres and mostly do a 4 hour shift once a week. Our volunteers enjoy promoting the Moreton Bay region and helping visitors with directions, maps, information and guides. We also offer opportunities for volunteers to be tour guides.
