Play a vital role in the maintenance of the ASWC's Food Pantry service. The primary task is to ensure that the ASWC foodbank is replenished weekly, via driving trips to Foodbank and Secondbite, in order to provide for vulnerable people in the community.

Play an essential role in the management and maintenance of the Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre Food Relief Program. Support the consumers and staff of the Centre by: picking up and organising food and material donations; assisting consumers to choose food and material items from the ASWC food bank, contacting clients to confirm food relief appointments.

Monthly BBQ Co-coordinator needed to take charge of the Bunnings BBQ’s as a volunteer coordinator. Box of all the items needed can be supplied. The fundraising is to help run All4hoovesWA Equine Rescue Sanctuary Inc. They would like to book in an event/BBQ once a month and it runs from our local Albany Bunnings Store on Chesterpass Road. They do have a list of volunteers that could potentially get to come onboard, but if you knew anyone that would like to help you that would be great too.

AVIARY ATTENDANTS - Cleaning and feeding the birds, interacting with the birds checking their health and wellbeing, collecting and cleaning food dishes. We are looking for at least 3 Aviary attendants. On the job training given. . For those who are doing animal studies this is a great hands on experience with achievement certificates available. Mature persons and retirees welcome. Our sanctuary is a Centrelink and Work for the Dole approved workplace.

Help collect and deliver a food order to a learning centre in North Melbourne that provides education programs and services to refugee and asylum seeker women.

Want to work collaboratively with the ASWC staff to deliver Saturday Programs. This support can include: delivering social activities for people seeking asylum, assist with collecting food parcels at the centre, administrative tasks, general cleaning and maintenance of the centre, and contributing ideas for Saturday excursions. Our Grill Crew operate at the Vegan Markets twice each month, serving up hot dogs along with our merchandise and an assortment of other donated products. Grill Crew are an extremely important part of the sanctuary’s fundraising, accounting for over 20% of our average monthly revenue for animal care and advocacy.

Lisa’s Kangaroo Retreat rescues, rehabilitates and releases wildlife, including injured and orphaned joeys, kangaroos, wallabies, possums and other animals. The Kangaroo Retreat in Redbank, Western Australia, is home to dozens of animals and relies on community and volunteer support to aid each animal in completing their journey to health and success. Volunteers are needed to help with feeding of joeys via bottles, making kangaroo milk, cleaning and caring for joeys.
