The Event Volunteer is the friendly and welcoming face of Genealogy SA at events and workshops both on site at the Genealogy Library and at other venues. He/she is responsible for promoting the Society as an organisation of choice in regard to family history research and membership. The Library Reception Desk Volunteer is the friendly and welcoming face of Genealogy SA. They provide guidance to members, visitors and those who call us to use the Society’s family history information resources. We are focused on creating genuine, long term connections between volunteers and our Leisure Buddy participants.
