Lane Cove National Park has a thriving Bushcare Program running under the supervision of a National Parks Bushcare Coordinator. There are groups currently working on different days, from every week to once a month, and they welcome new members. Work is in the bush, removing weeds so that native plants will regenerate, improving the biodiversity of the park.

Come and join our volunteer bush care team at Laratinga Wetlands Mount Barker. Fresh air, being active and socialising with like-minded environmentally conscious people while having fun.

They are advocates and ambassadors for the Nature Foundation and love the opportunity to be in nature and share positive stories. Reserve Hosts stay onsite on reserves for 1 – 2 weeks to support visitors and guests and act as a friendly, informative, and helpful face of Nature Foundation on our Reserves.

They are advocates & ambassadors for the Nature Foundation & love the opportunity to be in nature & share positive stories. Reserve Hosts stay onsite on reserves for 1 – 2 weeks to support visitors & guests & act as a friendly, informative, & helpful face of Nature Foundation on our Reserves. Ideal for travelers who want a unique experience staying in a remote reserve while contributing to a conservation.

Friends of Hindmarsh River Estuary are a friendly group who undertakes a range of activities to enhance the biodiversity of the Hindmarsh River Estuary. Would you like to do something meaningful for the environment? Have an hour or two you can assist our friendly group

Formed in 2016, our volunteers get to experience a beautiful ever-changing view and lovely breezes while they contribute their time in the garden beds. Meeting on Tuesdays the Sandpipers work along the Esplanade, Pioneer Cemetery and other high-profile green spaces in the CBD to support Council in keeping our gardens looking spick and span. The Sandpipers group volunteers on Tuesday mornings from 9am to noon.
