The volunteer we seek has skills translating innovative ideas into business realities. We are a cutting edge charity instituting world-leading ideas into the Austraaian landscape. We have many expert therapeutic practitioners but lack business skills getting the back-of-house business side of things in place. We can provide support teams for any given project (for research and other tasks), but need the business head to develop and step-by-step strategic plan.

You have relevant organisational skills and preferably past Board or committee experience (corporate or not-for-profit). You are also enthusiastic about HikeWest’s mission of fostering & promoting bushwalking / hiking in WA. The Board Secretary coordinates and supports the admin and compliance functions of the board and its executive management. This includes facilitating HikeWest’s governance processes, supporting the operation of the board, and maintaining up-to-date records.

The EO is the key voluntary position within HikeWest: A challenging but very satisfying role, requiring passion & commitment. The EO drives and implements HikeWest's Strategic Plan. The EO is empowered by delegation from the Board to manage the daily operations of HikeWest. The Board at its discretion may provide a small reimbursement to cover approved costs.

The Bobbin Head Cycle Classic returns on Sunday 18 September! This annual cycling event is a major fundraiser for Lifeline and other charities - and it cannot happen without the support of volunteers. This is a one-off volunteer opportunity. Volunteers are needed for the following tasks: course marshals - our main need; manning drink stations; start/finish set up; installing event signage.

To lead horses during lessons for riders with disabilities. (No experience needed). Time Required - 8.30am-12.00pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday

Up to 10,000 cyclists will be riding from Sydney to North Wollongong to raise funds and awareness for people living with multiple sclerosis.
