Inclusion Melbourne’s Leisure Buddy program matches like-minded people to undertake social activities within our community on a fortnightly basis. We are focused on creating genuine, long term connections between volunteers and our Leisure Buddy participants. We are looking for someone who can help with the gardening or groundsman work at the school. The school grounds need regular cleaning, gardening, trimming bushes and trees, leave blowing etc. Ideally the person can also repair small things and help with small tasks like hanging pictures, building small shelves and etc. Preferably supply own tools.

Do you take pride in keeping a fleet of community vehicles in great condition? Are you able to work unsupervised and complete the upkeep of the vehicles? Assistance needed one or two days a week. Role is general maintenance and safety checks that include checking tyre pressure, fluid levels and cleaning vehicles inside and out.

Do you like boats and sailing? This role involves collecting a 3.5M poly boat on a purpose-built aluminium trailer with an electric start 4-stroke motor and towing it 500 meters to a public boat ramp. Launch the boat with the help of club members, drive the boat out onto Throsby Creek and lay markers to create a sailing course. Return to shore and be on standby to collect distressed model boats if required. When racing has concluded, collect the buoys & return the boat to its original location.
