Participants experience social isolation, so volunteers provide them with companionship and support to engage in a variety of activities tailored to their hobbies, interests, and abilities. This role is integral to our ability to continue our work and to grow, and is perfect for someone who loves event coordination and will work with the team to ensure all Pre-Event Preparation is done. The Event Coordinator will oversee Signal Flare’s social BBQ gathering on the day of the event, with a limited amount of pre-work to prepare for the day. This role requires a full day on the particular event day, and a preparation time of 1-2 hours per week between events.
