Outer East Foodshare collects donated, surplus and rescued food and delivers it to agencies in the Outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne that help families in need. This role will take responsibility for overseeing the deliveries and food collections including responsibility for food safety The role involves overseeing a team of volunteers who will pack, unpack food and may need to re-pack food into smaller units. Must also oversee the record keeping of volumes of food handled

Customer service and retail attendant for art gallery, required for a few hours a day and a few days each week. A knowledge of local artists would be an advantage, or ability to familiarise yourself with the local artists.

St Brendans provides 2 course hot lunch and shower facilities to the homeless every Friday at the Guide Hall, Watts Road Safety Bay from 11am-2pm. Volunteers can help set-up and prepare meals from 9.30am-11.30am or serve and pack-up from 11.30am-1.30pm.

We need people who knit, crochet or sew who would like to make items for us to sell in our shop. All the proceeds support hospital initiatives. This would largely be a role that you do in your home but we will show our gratitude by making you part of the volunteer family.

We require an Installation Assistant to assist with upcoming events to handle all sizes and types of art. Prior experience with hand tools is a definite bonus. The program volunteer or ‘Mover’ is a support of the teacher in the class and their role is to assist the teacher to ensure each emotion21 participant is engaged, learning and participating ensuring they access the benefits of the program i.e. developing in movement skills (e.g. physical skills), experiencing the psychological benefits of the program (e.g. the joy of movement, new friendships, and power of ‘belonging’ in a community etc.) and is being encouraged to grow in social skills.
