  1. Crisis Advocate for Citizen Advocacy

Citizen Advocacy is seeking crisis advocates to assist with short-term advocacy roles addressing unforeseen or urgent issues in the life of a person with intellectual disability. A crisis advocate has many of the same qualities as a citizen advocate and goes through the same orientation, but instead of committing to a long-term relationship, the crisis advocate is on hand to respond to unforeseen or urgent issues. The relationship will only be expected to last as long as the crisis continues.
