The Register of Appropriate Persons (RASP) provides support to young people who are required to be interviewed by police. The objective is to support these young people at times when another responsible adult is unavailable. The RASP volunteer presence helps young people feel confident that their rights will be respected, they have support to make conscious & informed decisions about how they interact with police during interviews, custody or charging processes and are treated fairly.

Farm Animal Rescue are seeking habitat cleaning volunteers to care for some of the sanctuary’s most fragile rescued animals.

Farm Animal Rescue is inviting applications for Open Day Volunteer.

We are seeking an animal care assistant to work for up to 7 hours on a regular basis providing the best of care to the sanctuary’s animals. You will work alongside our live-in animal care team. This includes, cleaning, prepping, feeding and basic health assessment. You can commit to volunteer once per week, per fortnight or per month.

Start any date that suits, as long as we are available. Minimum stay two weeks. You work 3.5 days each week. Days are long, from dawn to dusk, but the happy smiling faces of the animals around you will make it all worth it. Duties include daily cleaning of barns and coops, feeding, health checks, light maintenance work, monitoring herd movements and intensive care of ill, old and baby animals. Extra duties may be required when new there are new rescues or infants.
