The homestead was built between 1862 and 1880 for John Maley (King of the Greenough Flats), miller, storekeeper, hotel proprietor, entrepreneur and father of 14 children. These need maintenance, preservation, restoration, or rebuilding depending on their condition. We welcome anyone with the skills and/or aptitude to join the team who care for the collection. The collection ranges from large steam engines to small items such as hand-cranked seeders and butter churns.
