The St Vincent de Paul Society Youth Team is looking for leaders aged between 21 – 35 years old to support local teenagers in our Youth Mentoring program. Leaders do not require any previous volunteering experience, but must be warm, energetic, and have a passion for supporting young people. The program takes place on a monthly Sunday from 8:00am-5:00pm.

As a Local Coordinator, you will provide additional support to a High School Exchange student from overseas who is living with a host family and attending High School in your local community. A Local Coordinator must live within 2 hours of where a student is living. If you are interested in other cultures, young people and families, this role is perfect for you. You may have been an exchange student or host family yourself - but that is not a requirement.

Geraldton Scout Group has been operating since 1926. We provide skills to the youth to become leaders amongst the community. “The Mission of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.” Geraldton Scout Group are looking for Section Leaders to run the Scouting Program each week.

The objective is to support these young people at times when another responsible adult is unavailable. The RASP volunteer presence helps young people feel confident that their rights will be respected, they have support to make conscious & informed decisions about how they interact with police during interviews, custody or charging processes and are treated fairly.

Do you want to make a difference in a young child's life? We are seeking caring and compassionate volunteers to spend one hour a week (during school hours) to mentor a student who requires a positive and supportive role model in their lives.
