The Ronald McDonald Family Room is a space designed to be a welcoming break from the ward environment for sick children and their families whilst staying in the Children's Ward. In this role you will have the chance to make a beautiful difference in a family's day. Our Family Room simply cannot operate without our amazing volunteer team.

Making a beautiful difference in the lives of our families, our Family Ambassadors provide a vital service to the House and our families. This role is a 'sleep over' position, whereby you support our current in house families, take any after hours call from the hospital about availability of rooms for emergency incomings and meet and greet families including checking in as required.

for IFYS Foster Care Cairns - Family Services
Provide a safe and stable living environment for a child living in out of home care for a short period of time or at least one weekend a month as a minimum
