Many and varied tasks are available, depending on the time of season. Duties include seed collecting, seed sorting, decontaminating benches / pots, pricking plants and propagation. Attend emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls as well as other duties as required. Commitment is approx 60 hours annually, based on 1 shift plus training per month. To continue to operate in your role, you must maintain the competencies required & appropriate level of fitness as roles are physically demanding.

The seed collection project started in December 2022 as a pilot project. Location: Piney Lakes Environmental Education Centre, 555 Leach Highway, Winthrop.
