Remembrance Park Central Victoria manages a number of cemeteries in the Bendigo area and is looking for Gardening and Painting volunteers for a variety of tasks. Someone who is friendly and enjoys meeting and talking to people.

Your basic sewing machine skills, or willingness to learn, will be useful in this role sewing wildlife rescue pouches and basket liners. Only straight line sewing, and patterns are cut along straight lines. All equipment is provided. Pouches and liners are sewn to specific sizes and designs and are given to local wildlife carers as needed. Timing is flexible - between 8am and 1pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Several helping hands are needed to re-vegetate a weedy reserve for the return of local native vegetation. We require planters and weeders to continue our revegetation work in The Susannah Brook Reserve.

We take all volunteers, young and old. You can either use your existing Sales, Management or other skills or we can teach you some new ones. We provide low-cost local native plants to the public and park organisations. We hope that by encouraging the planting of local native plants this will increase the biodiversity & climate resilience of the Whitehorse area.

Willunga Recreation Park (WRP) was established in 1875 & is an entirely community owned & community run organisation based in Willunga. WRP hosts four festivals throughout the year including the iconic Willunga Almond Blossom Festival, Fleurieu Beer Festival, Chilli Festival & the Jigsaw Competition. Central Coast Wetlands is a multi-purpose nature space on Crown Land. You will be working to improve the site that was previously used for agriculture and aim to improve aesthetics. You will work closely with the Caretaker and Volunteer coordinator to clean and maintain three assets that CCW uses for events.
