Inclusion Melbourne is an auspice in the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme; a national program funded by the Australian Government. As an Inclusion Melbourne Aged Care Volunteer Visitor, you’ll spend time with someone in your local community who may be lonely or socially isolated. We're looking for caring individuals who can sit and have a chat, reminisce and talk about topics of interest with elderly people in their own homes.

Boroondara Cooks is a meal sharing and community-strengthening program that supports older residents (Diners) who live in their own home, however aren’t always able to cook for themselves. The program connects community members (Volunteer Cooks) who are happy to share an extra portion of their home cooked meal with an older neighbour on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. The Diner appreciates a regular home cooked meal delivered to them and a friendly face to say hello.

W are currently welcoming volunteers to visit a Serbian lady living in an Aged Care. This resident would love to receive social visits with people who speak and are familiar with the Serbian culture.
