*Community Transport Volunteer
About this opportunity
If you want to make a huge difference to the quality of someone's life, this role might be for you.
You will be transporting or accompanying our clients to and from appointments with their personal belongings or wheelchairs as necessary, and be willing to help, reassure, and provide companionship to passengers as required.
You will need to be prepared to work with people who may have communication barriers or physical disabilities.
Additional requirements
Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *.
St John's First Aid Certificate which will be organised free of charge. Ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously. Excellent communication skills. Ability to lift and stow equipment such as wheel chairs.
9 hours per fortnight
