Retail Assistant Volunteer - Hawthorn

About this opportunity

We are currently looking for some excited individuals to help out on Fridays (either morning or afternoon) at our lovely Hawthorn store. All our stores are quite different and Hawthorn is definitely a community store that is much loved by everyone who visits. The team knows that building relationships with the local community is important and we enjoy getting to know what our customers are looking for. With your support and help we can make everyone's shopping experience unique and fullfilling. Come be part of a great team and have some fun while knowing you are contributing to something bigger and helping those who need it most.

Responsibilities:

• Help provide a welcoming atmosphere
• Make the store look presentable
• Provide fantastic customer service
• Work the till
• Be part of a wonderful op shop team and most importantly have fun!!

Additional requirements

National Police Certificate ^*.

As part of the application process we will ask you to agree to a confidentiality agreement, Code of Conduct and be willing to undergo a police check.

Time Required

A half/full day weekly or fortnightly - Friday Ideally we would like 4 hrs (10-2pm or 1-5pm) but that can be negotiated on a case by case basis.
