Retail Assistant Volunteer - North Fitzroy

We are looking for a fun loving retail enthusiast that wants to join our wonderful team in North Fitzroy
Sacred Heart Mission is a local Melbourne charity focused on elevating disadvantage, social exclusion, and homelessness. Volunteering in our Op Shops is absolutely crucial to the rest of the Mission as they provide the funding that allows our other services to run.
We are currently looking for a reliable retail volunteer who wants to join our wonderful team in North Fitzroy. North Fitzroy has one of our best window designs and a good group of regular customers. Customer service is a high priority here. With your assistance we can help customers have a great experience and also support the various programs of the Mission! Come be part of the team and lets make a difference. Every $4 earned by the stores goes directly to the meals program and provides hot food for those in need.
Responsibilities:
- Help provide a welcoming atmosphere
- Make the store look presentable
- Provide fantastic customer service
- Work the till
- Be part of a wonderful op shop team and most importantly have fun!!
Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *.
As part of the application process we will ask you to agree to a confidentiality agreement, Code of Conduct and be willing to undergo a police check.
We are in great need for Volunteers on: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday Ideally we would like 4 hrs (1-5pm) but that can be negotiated on a case by case basis.
