Being a member of the WYRC you will: *talk to other young people about what is important for them

  • be a strong voice for young peoples needs in the community and represent them to council
  • Learn about leadership, advocacy and consultation
  • learn more about and increase your connection to your Whitehorse community
  • learn about and connect with your local council and better understand how it works
  • meet new people with similar passions and interests

Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

*Fortnightly Wednesday night meetings from 5.30 - 7.30pm (with possible additional meetings on alternate Wednesdays) commencing in February 2021.
*12 month term with a possibility to extend to 24 months

* May be arranged via the Organisation. Details to be provided on expression of interest.
